Consumers' Auto Detective will inspect your potential purchase to ensure the quality, safety, function and value before you buy a used vehicle.  Why should you have a potential purchase inspected before you buy?

The California Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) advises: "Before you buy any vehicle, it is always wise to have an expert check it out. The engine isn't the only item to consider before purchasing a used car. The condition of the frame and body are just as important because proper frame and body repairs can often cost more than the vehicle is worth and improper repairs could be structurally unsafe. That's why it's important to find out if repairs were made and if they were made correctly."

CALIFORNIA BAR'S ABC'S OF BUYING A USED CAR

Find out about potential problems with a used car or truck before you buy.  If you already own a vehicle that you think may have a collision history, it may not be too late.  If the vehicle was portrayed to you as something that it is not, you may still have legal recourse.
