Consumers' Auto Detective

Welcome Auto Body Shop operators to information created with you in mind!  From  this page you can access the Consumers' Auto Detective web, but this page is not intended for anyone but collision shop owners and managers.

We were in your shoes.  As background,  Ken Klein established Consumers' Auto Detective (CAD).  With  thirty-nine years plus of collision shop experience (more information on Ken available on Who are we page), I have witnessed every form of third party interference that you deal with on a daily basis.  CAD interest is simple and straightforward, to ensure that the consumer receives first rate repairs for his/her loss.  CAD involvement is not to stipulate the cost of your charges in any way; rather it is to facilitate settlement of a claim smoothly for primarily the consumer but also the repair shop and any third party payer that may be involved.

The following link shows how some major insurance companies function.

"Snake Killer" MUST READ

As our name implies, Consumers' Auto Detective works for the consumer.  However, what is good for the consumer, is good for the collision repair shop.  Repairs as specified by the vehicle manufacturers, state law and internationally recognized training programs are good for the consumer.  When these repairs are properly paid for they are very good for the repair shop.
